• Sustainability
  • Sustainability has deep roots within the Snyder Langston culture. Whether it was building the highly sustainable Irvine Ranch Water District headquarters in 1993, or installing the first of its kind BIPV (Building Integrated Photovoltaic) solar energy system where the windows themselves generate electricity at the Tiger Woods Learning Center in 2005, Snyder Langston’s green building practices have flourished over the years. The firm now has about 1 million-sq. ft. and well over $200 million worth of LEED construction work in place.

  • Realizing the importance of education, in addition to training all of its employees in the LEED process & current sustainable building practices through its coveted Snyder Langston University, the firm has been training Owners, Architects, Engineers, Subcontractors, and Suppliers at no cost. To date, 2/3 of the firm’s employees are LEED Accredited Professionals and this number continues to grow constantly.
